House. Early C19, remodelled c1830 and renovated late C20. Coursed squared stone with brick dressings and concrete tile roof. 2 brick gable stacks with coped double flues set diagonally. Brick quoins. 2 storeys; 3 window range.  At the rear, a large C20 brick buttress with round arched openings for a door and window. This building is probably one of those rebuilt c1790-1820 by George de Ligne Gregory and remodelled in a picturesque style c1820-1840 by Gregory Gregory

In the Estate sale of 1937, the tenancy is that of a Mrs Anderson.

In the 1939 Register, Mrs Millicent D Anderson (born 1885) is living here with her son Oliver (born 1912). Millicent is a widow and Oliver is a shop assistant and is also an Officer Cadet Reserve. Another person, Sarah Hattersley, is also living here. Sarah is an elderly lady (born 1855) of independent means.

These images taken in late 1960's. The above shows the brick buttress to the rear of the property. It is unclear at this time whether this feature is cosmetic, structural or serves some practical use.
