Streets through time - High Street
No 47 The Lilypad

WIP - further details to follow.

In the Estate sale of 1937, the tenancy is to Mr Eric Wilkiinson. In the 1939 Register, Poultry farmer Eric (born 1903) is living here with his wife Nancy (born 1910). Erics parents Alfred (born 1874) and Olive (born 1884), also poultry farmers, are living close by in No 43. Pat Hollingsworth recalls that both the Wilkinson families remained in these houses for some time and that Nancy used to run the Sunday School.
